Pets Best Pet Insurance was founded by Jack Stephens, DVM, in Boise, Idaho. Credited with developing pet insurance in the United States, Dr. Stephens is determined to end "economic euthanasia."

This service will pay a good portion of your pet's routine care including;

• Annual exam
• Spay or neuter
• Teeth cleaning
• Innoculations
• DHLPP
• Bordetella
• Lyme
• Giardia

Flea, tick and heartworm are also included as are the following tests:

• Blood panel
• Fecal
• Heartworm
• Urinalysis

While most pet insurance companies exclude behavioral and hereditary conditions, pregnancies and burial or cremation, Pets Best may cover your pet in these situations.

Do make sure to read the excluded breeds for pregnancy and hereditary limitations. Hip Dysplasia and Von Willebrand Disease are hereditary conditions that may be of concern as a GSD owner.
