The Rescue named him Harrison, we added King and he's known as and comes to King.
We got him from A Pathway to Hope. This rescue brings puppies to the Nursing Home where my mother resides. I brought my son there to visit and see the pups and he absolutely fell in LOVE with this 10 week old Husky-Shepherd. We applied and adopted him and have loved every minute.
I know that the mother was tethered outside in a dust yard with no shelter under a tree with her litter.
The rescue wanted to give us his sister, but we couldn't take on both and were willing to give up our adoption if someone came forth who could keep them together, but that not did happen.
We've been told his sister has a loving family now. We have two cats in out home who have adjusted to King's presence. We do have to keep an eye on him with them, he likes to chase them and that could be dangerous if allowed to do so.
The cats now live upstairs and he mainly resides downstairs. They only come together when we are present to supervise.
King is fun, affection and smart. Needs a lot of exercise and play.
