German Shepherd Puppy

I recently decided to get a German Shepherd for my little girl's fourth birthday. Growing up my family always had dogs,most of which were German Shepherds. I went to local animal shelters and also investigated local breeders to find the perfect puppy. I took my daughter along as I was making the final decision. She had no idea the puppy was for her, so she was quite surprised when he came running in her room on her birthday morning. He is the cutest puppy and has a quiet bark. He is patient and will listen to commands very well, especially sit and stay. We had only had him for a few weeks, but he was a quick leaner and learned dozens of commands. German Shepherds are very quick learners and very obedient. It was the perfect gift and a day she and I will never forget and he is a great addition to our growing family.
